More gorgeous pictures

Arthur does smile a lot these days. He is such a happy baby! Somehow his smiles keep evading my camera. Yes, these were taken in the bathroom. I find the best lighting there.

Arthur in action.

My guys

Hello family and friends!
Up until now, August has been the single, modest voice on this blog. Now I would like to share my perspective of the budding relationship between father and son. August is already a wonderful father.

Here is the moment after Arthur's first targeted micturition. Notice the urine spots on the bottom left.

August is already learning Arthur's language.

Neither boy is shaving these days.

But both enjoy a good knuckle suck.

Arthur makes a friend

On October 16th, Arthur had his first interaction with a peer. Henry Thomas Goodfellow, the adorable 9- week-old son of dear friends Megan and David Goodfellow came to visit.
It started out so well.

Then, Henry started to have his doubts about our little one...

...so he went in for a closer taste.

But Arthur wasn't feeling very tasty.

And Henry picked up on that.

So the moms decided social time was over.

Finally, an update

First, an apology- we haven't posted in like 10 days, as several of you have reminded us. Also, pretty much all of the pictures so far have been taken by then posted directly from an iphone, so there's only been one, cell-phoney picture at a time. This will change.

Arthur is doing very well. At 15 days old, he's been sleeping for around 5-6 hours a night. He's eating plenty and creating a lot of all the things babies are supposed to create. He's pretty much a delight in every way. See for yourselves.
